Behind Bullet Time

In our most recent podcast, The Matrix, we discussed the ground-breaking VFX, and promised to share some links. Check out the below video from Corridor Crew where the break down how Bullet Time was achieved.

The team also break down some bad VFX, including Henry Cavill’s CGI mouth monstrosity in Justice League!

Flash Back?

Despite a failed TV reboot and Matthew Vaughan (Kick Ass, Kingsman) expressing interest in recent years, we’re long overdue a Flash Gordon reboot. One of the oldest comic book action heroes and a huge influence sci-fi cinema, it’s no wonder he keeps popping up.

But in a crowded market place with Star Wars and Guardians of The Galaxy, how can you stand out with a space opera? Well getting Taika Waititi (Thor Ragnarok, What We Do In The Shadows) on board and making it animated, are strong ideas!

Looks like the Kiwi auteur is set to write and direct. Waititi is a fantastic visualist with a cracking sense of humour, so he seems a perfect fit for the material.

All we ask is that he reuses the Queen soundtrack from the 1980s version….along with Timothy Dalton. It’s not too much to ask, is it?

Bill & Ted 3 – First Look

The first on-set photos from Bill & Ted 3 (aka Bill & Ted Face The Music) have emerged.

No beard! No way!

It’s great to see that the film is finally a reality and the Wyld Stallyns reunited, but at what cost?… Well, one casualty is Keanu’s beautiful beard! Seems like we all got too accustomed to it in recent years.

A clean-shaven Keanu now just looks plain wrong. As many have pointed out, Professor Snape, anyone?!

Game On!

We’ve been a little light on the gaming content of late, but don’t worry, we’ve got some cool stuff coming soon! Charlie has been editing some entertaining videos of his latest PS4 exploits and will be sharing over the next few days.
